I read DeeJ's post on reddit, stating that the Vex Mythoclast will NEVER receive an upgrade, if it goes the way Bungie wants it.
I can't understand, not even a little bit, why you are turning one of the hardest weapons to get in the game into one of the weakest.
DeeJ said it is because it is a Raid drop and as that "frozen in time", which is not logical at all.
Why should players then put effort into doing VoG on HM over and over just to receive a once great weapon that will be totally useless the day House of wolves will be released?
Why should we then attempt to get the Necrochasm, as it neither will get a chance to be upgraded.
Does not make any sense to me, that the greatest weapons, with the biggest challenges to achieve them, do not matter at all.
I love my Mythoclast and I want to use it all along the new content that will be releasesd durng the next years so badly.
But giving this EXOTIC weapon no chance to get upgraded unlike EVERY OTHER EXOTIC Weapon is just not fair and one of the biggest motivation killers.
Oh and by the way DeeJ: Vex can't be the strongest weapon in PvP as all weapons deal the same amount of damage unless you are playing Iron Banner. And even then you could at least make it a PvE Weapon that is on one level with the others.
Think about it Bungie. I really love your game, but please dont take us Players the chance to individualize ourselves the way we want it, with the weapons we want.
Greetings,
Baku

Edited by GreyPooponya: 1/16/2015 8:23:49 PMIdk, I can respect it regarding how they structure raids. With Destiny's unique leveling system, vault weapons and gear will always remain relevant for doing the vault and all other content level 30 and under. Not to mention vision of confluence is still a major go to, even against the level 32 enemies. The problem is there's nothing else to do other than repeat content for better gear to do the new raid. Without real story to fill in between dlc gear upgrades, it feels senseless and repetitive.
