I'm not saying that we're not conditioned in certain ways, particularly when it comes to taking the lives of other people, but we aren't taught to ignore our own morals or anything stupid like that. Innocents dieing every day because of the US military not enough evidence for ya? Not to mention past events such as Agent Orange, Hiroshima etc. Nobody with any kind of moral compass would conduct these events unless they had been conditioned too. I would applaud you for standing on your moral principles, but your aggressive tone doesn't demonstrate a commitment to non-violence or non-aggression, only the cowardice that is facilitated by a keyboard or a touchscreen. War is hell. It sucks. A lot of really bad stuff happens, but that's the nature of this life. It has always been that way, and we have no evidence it will ever be any other way. Men like me will always be necessary. Men capable of horrific violence and channelled aggression. But we are still men. Capable of compassion and sympathy. We are willing to give everything.
