Well I mean, the most significant draft we had was WWII, which I would say was a just cause

I was kind of taking it to mean if their was a draft tomorrow how would you feel. And my answer to that I'd be irate. I don't support any of our governments decision making and I'll be damned if I'm going to be forced into battle by a bunch of rich old ignorant white people.

That's perfectly acceptable, and understandable from the US' past actions. But if your own security was endangered by non action in this conflict, would you be more irate?

Okay. In the hypothetical scenario that my friends, family, and neighbors were in danger and it was deemed imperative to the safety of our country that they implemented a draft. If the day came that my number was called I would gladly serve my time.

I would say the most significant was Vietnam. You know since we sent a bunch of teenagers to their certain death so we could fight a war that had nothing to do with us.

Yea, I originally typed that saying "neglecting Vietnam" but figured that was forcing an answer set. However the Vietnam war was political swamp, and was arguably not much of an international or national security thread.
