  • And if I was to be a truly pedantic ass, then you should have used an apostrophe at the beginning of "cause", like so 'cause. The apostrophe denotes the omission of one or more letters. Without the apostrophe, the meaning of "cause" in this instance would be as "effect", which renders your post gibberish and meaningless. Quit whilst you are behind, because there is no chance of you ever catching me up (let alone overtaking me). In case you're wondering, the view from the moral high ground is breathtakingly beautiful.

  • Ok, have it your way... the OP wrote at the end of their post as follows: "because without us the community, they're might not even be a Destiny 2." You incorrectly highlighted to the OP that "their" should have been used instead of "they're" - both of which are incorrect, as the correct grammatical homophone that should have been used was "there" (as I pointed out to you). Instead of my just thinking that you were an idiot, you have now proven beyond all reasonable doubt that you are indeed a first rate idiot. If knowing the correct grammatical use of words (and how to spell them) makes me high and mighty, then I am guilty as charged. Your time would have been better served studying your SAT's, and perhaps a little less time gaming, and then I wouldn't have had to hand you your ass and prove to anyone else reading this that you are as ignorant as you portray yourself... well done you. Here endeth today's lesson... class dismissed!

  • No irony on my part... you tried to point out the incorrect use of a homophone, and in doing so you committed the same grammatical error. If you are going to highlight an error, don't make the same mistake yourself (which is precisely what you did do). *irony - an expression of language that normally signifies the opposite (typically for humorous effect).
