*The man looks at you uncertainly. He then looks toward one of the men behind him who whispers something in his ear. Once he has discussed things with the man, he says to you* "You are aware that to the south is full of spectral demons correct? We have set up this camp to await further reinforcements to deal with them. i am afraid it's just to dangerous for us to allow you to go wandering down there."

*eyes widen slightly* My lord, if it is as dangerous as you say, I [i]must[/i] pass; my uncle and his family are the only family I have left. I have to know that they, at least, are safe; I have to reach them. Please. I am not myself completely helpless, and his farm is not in the Deep South. I would not have to venture far beyond this pass.
