I agree just give it a chance. I am a guy and everyone I associate myself with even in school is almost always a girl. (Let's face it, guys are too idiotic). Just hink about it, what reason i there to not try just hanging out with someone. One thing I do when I get a friend request is I'll hang out with the person and then decide if I want to delete them or not ( so I currently have to choose who I want to delete from my friends list XD). But who knows, a person you decide to "friend" you could end up accidentally just meeting one day and then it's like "WOAH", but that's highly unlikely.
