While what happened was a tragedy, there's a time and play for everything, here is neither of those things. Firstly, because people play video games to get away from life, not to be constantly reminded of it. I don't want to come home from work to wind down and play my video games only to be reminded of things like that, and I'm sure plenty of other people will agree with me in that respect. Secondly, it's not really uncommon for these things to happen. It's unfortunate yes, but it's still true. Pretty soon people would be asking to commemorate every single big event that happens, and then they'd want the same for past events. Before long, the game would be filled to the brim with only that, which would both trivialize everything that happens and completely ruin the game for some players. Like I said, time and place for everything.
