This is less of a factor now that it's forecast to not have any precipitation (ice/snow) or wind. But the temperature is still a factor (though minor now).
In my house? I don't particularly care one way or another (which I know makes me a traitor and heretic for my locale). Now my wife? She wants whoever is playing against Dallas to win.

She's hated them for decades. Let me ask. *leans back* "Honey, why do you hate the Cowboys?" "'Cause they're arrogant. Their only redeeming quality was having Emmitt Smith, who was a Gator first and foremost." Well, there ya go!

.... Oh.

Like I said, I'm not a fan of any particular team/player/franchise. I can watch a game and just enjoy seeing good play, but for me the real fun is either being there (at the game, in a sports bar, or at someone's home) watching the game and enjoying the excitement and being with good friends. Not the typical male perspective, I know. *shrug* But I've noticed that folks who are fans each have their own personal reasoning process as to what team/players they follow and like. Some are more emotional or traditional than others, some are "you like them because of THAT?" and none of it really bothers me at all.

My husband was raised a Cowboys fan. His father still calls him every single Sunday (or whatever day the Cowboys play) after the game. Never fails.

How can you not be arrogant with such a great QB?

I don't get it.
