I agree. If you don't do Crucible and Raids most of the time they find ways to force you to do that. Why is it so hard to let people play and enjoy Destiny the same way since day 1? There are a number of reasons I/we don't play the Crucible and Raid all the time. Instead of adding things to them to get casual players to play voluntarily they just force us to play them. Just to elaborate on my personal reasons for avoiding the so called end game stuff: 1. No CTF. See Halo and DC Universe Online. 2. No team based Crucible other than kill/die/repeat. Control has a little but needs more. See Halo and DC Universe Online. 3. PvP and PvE specific loot. See DC Universe Online. 4. OPTIONAL Matchmaking for everything. See Halo and DC Universe Online. 5. PvE loot system almost nonexistent. See Borderlands and Diablo 2&3. 6. Free Open World MMO with HUGE maps and no loading screens every 200 feet. See DC Universe Online. 7. Larger Raid Groups especially for Hard. See DC Universe Online. 8. Trading Auction House. See DC Universe Online. 9. Customizable Weapon/armor display and function. See DC Universe Online. 10. Limit amount of loading screens not increase. 11. Rename Gunsmith to Noob Vendor or let him gunsmith stuff. Upgrade Legendary Items to DLC level IF you own the DLC. 12. Combine marks into one type and allow ALL default vendors to sell to everyone. 13. Remove ammo penalty for switching. 14. Remove emotes for weapon/armor load out. 15. Remove Crucible balance, match players with similar skill stats. Skill AND weapons/armor should provide the ultimate advantage. 16. Allow Exotic bounties to have a PvP and PvE step for each phase. Let us decide which path to take each way. Maybe allow unique stats and perks depending on path taken. 17. Remove exotic limit. 18. Add material vendor to allow every material/consumable to be traded for something else. 19. Add space combat. 20. Add sparrow racing.
