When playing with female players

I find it very fun and exciting when playing with female players. I know, what guy doesn't right? The thing is that, in my personal experience, when playing with my buddies, or my boys, we create a certain atmosphere. When a female player comes in the picture, most of us don't know how to react to the situation. I personally really don't like cursing, or using bad language with any girl. It makes me feel like I have no class when I do, but yet I find it hilarious when guys try to stand out in the party by cussing, and being extra dramatic when a girl is in the game. Most of us men might know how to speak with women outside of gaming, but when it comes to chatting with them online, or in a party chat inside the gaming world, we seem to not be able to handle it. I still haven't found the solution to this problem, but maybe posting something on the subject may get us a step closer to finding this solution. The problem Female players complain on how male players harass, annoy, and bug the hell out of them as soon as they find out that they're a girl. Sending mass 'friend requests', 'messages', and 'party invites' do not make female players intrigued to play with us. Overall most men would love to play games with female players every other night if they could. But honestly, most male players simply do not know how to respond to the female players who we find playing our favorite game. Why are guys so thirsty online? I do have female gamers which who i play with occasionally, yet I wish I had more female players to play with. When playing with girl gamers, conversations take different turns, and different topics come up, oppose to when playing with your buddies. This is one of the reasons why male players are so excited to have a female player in their friends list. Perhaps some guys play more games than socialize outside of their rooms. Whether this is true or not, what guy doesn't dream of a hot, sexy girl who enjoys the same things as we do? So what better place to find this sexy woman over a match online? The truth The truth is simple. The world isn't a fairytale, so if you are hoping to find this perfect partner over a match most likely wont happen. Yet I don't see a reason to not send a friend request to a female player, nor I find a reason for any girl to get upset. Why is it still a surprise when female players get requested by guys? We don't know, but hopefully times will change to where gamers overall become more friendly, and the number of females in the gaming world are equal to those for males. Any suggestions? The only clue to the solution for this problem is more female players. Guys still dominate the numbers game in the world of gaming, so perhaps by equaling the number of female players, this might quench the thirst for most of these guys. Thank you for taking the time and reading this, this is my very first post. If you enjoyed it please leave a comment, and for any suggestions that could help find the solution to this problem, feel free to leave your comments here as well. Take care ladies, and gentlemen. have a great weekend.

  • Ive never noticed anything different if i happen to go on mic or they connect the dots with my name then they usually are just like theres a girl or at some point refer to me as the girl but im not treated different? I cuss a lot too so i usually mute my mic so i don't annoy the other players :p

  • They're just people, man. Stop making such a big deal out of the fact that they've got different genitalia than you.

    • Trying to treat them differently because of their gender is a huge mistake and that will either make them uncomfortable or annoy them, nothing worse to me when I'm hanging out with a group of guys and they stop themselves from saying stuff cause I'm a female. Listen we bought the game to play it and some bought it to socialize with other people who enjoy the same game, keep in mind that if we play game chat a lot, we have heard a lot of shit and most of us don't care. This is mostly how I view it but it shouldn't matter what gender someone is in how you should approach them, be yourself. Even if you are a massive dick that cusses a lot

        • The problem i have is related to what you've described. I feel awkward when i join a team of guys that act different cause I'm there. Having my mic off is usually my go to solution. Knowing that you change the way you speak because of "manners" gave me a different perspective, so maybe i wont feel as awkward next time. My biggest problem is not being heard. sometimes i do have the solution, the right strategy, the right answer, the right suggestion, but no one really listens. (Main reason why i purposely mute my mic. I mean what's the point if no one's gonna at the very least consider what i am saying??) Last point: Guys, please stop being a hero. I cant tell you how many times the guy who just got killed tells me not to revive em cause its "too dangerous." It's a game, if it was that dangerous what were you doing there?! Showing off makes you a nuisance, delays the game and steals the fun out of it.

          • I never encounter that problem. Not even in real life. The problem you seem to be having, is that you and your friends are massive idiots.

I understand this may happen for some girls but if you go into the game as a player and not a trophy then you guy gamers take us more seriously! I love this game and all the people I play with! Thanks for making it fun

              • I sorta have a gf plus dating someone over a console is kinda dumb, so I usually just act like I normally act with everyone else I play with. I don't show off or try to be "the cool guy" when playing with a girl.

              • Mate, I don't care what sex people are when I play games with them. I don't censor my language just because a girl is in the party. If someone doesn't like swearing and they ask nicely, I will kindly oblige them. Videogames are simply a past time. I'm not looking for female approval or gratification out of it. If I can find solid, likeable teammates to run with, I will be content, no matter the sex of the people involved. Honestly, I don't get why guys get so hot under the collar over a girl who plays games. I would much rather date someone who shares my passion for reading books.

I think because a lot of guys are in their parents basements still they're not too sure how to react. Some act pathetic while others give them shit. It sucks. I recall when girls started playing games online. It was back in the Halo 2 era. People have and still give girls shit today online, but it was even worse in the Halo 2 era. How worse you ask? Imagine playing a game of free for all and there is 1 girl in there. Wanna know what everyone else did? They all went up to her player model and started tea-bagging on the ground. Every single one. They would not leave her alone, get out of the way or even play the game normally. I think there is a video of that floating around on YouTube somewhere, but I'm not sure if it still exists or not.
