Look, I know you want to defend 343i and all, but you have to take a step back and realize where rabid fans of the franchise stand on this issue. Just take a minute and watch this guy's video. You don't have to like what he says, the way he says it, or even agree with him. But please listen to the points he makes. They are valid. And he is speaking not just for himself, but around 8 other machinima directors that he has either worked with or become friends with through the earlier Halo games.

  • This guy is an absolute hypocritical jackass. But I guess that's what he gets for not censoring himself. I already knew I was in for a fun filled ride when he praised Halo 2 and 3 as near perfect games. Or that there's no communication between 343i and the consumers. Does this idiot even go on Halo Waypoint? Does he even attempt to help get the game fixed by reporting issues? The only valid point I heard him make is that it's been two months, and the game isn't in working order that's not right. I agree! This dude is seriously a disillusioned Bungie fanboy.

  • I probably should have put in some more context before dumping this on you. First, he is not a Bungie fanboy. He, along with most of his friends, detest Destiny for obvious reasons. Second, his comments are based on what he personally has seen. He has gone on Halo Waypoint and what he saw there influenced what he said in the video. Also, he said in the video that he, along with thousands of other people, have been reporting the issues they've been having. Third, he is, as I said, a machinima director. From this standpoint, Halo 2 and 3 were near-perfect games for it, at least for their time. This may have had some sway over his comments, yes, but if he were referring just to the games in the MCC alone, then he was right. He is, after all, only talking about the matchmaking component. Compare them to Halo 4 and I think you can see what he meant. I sure as hell can. Also, if machinima making had a sway over his decisions, it wouldn't have affected this in the slightest as Halo 4 is atrocious for making machinima, what with the gun always raising every time you move and the obnoxious footsteps and the inability to get rid of the kill feed in theater and so, so many other issues. One more thing. I find it funny that you agree with his point about it being two, now nearly three, months since it released and it still not being fully functioning. But yet you don't say anything about what he said about 343i's Twitter and how they post almost exclusively about tournaments that only so many people actually care about and don't even acknowledge the comments they get on those saying things about how they should stop wasting time advertising these tournaments and work on fixing their freaking game.
