Why the hell are people asking for this to come back? I only like to pve and I could give two -blam!-s if it EVER ran again. It was not "new content" despite the label. It just told you "hey go kill random douchebag in random story mission that you've already done 100 times."
The event in itself gave nothing useful if you were even remotely close to max level either. Woopdie doo shaders and emblems!
EDIT: I suppose you could argue that it was great for the first few days since people already maxed out or close to level cap back then (myself included) sharded all the worthless "awards" for acendant materials. But Bungie isn't dumb enough to do that twice so no point.

It would be nice to see a "defeat the winters run" bounty again. It would give me a chance to do something besides patrols and glimmer farming.

It sold one of the best legendary hand cannons in the game and it had the chance to drop supremacy a very high impact sniper or did you forget about that

Raid weapons from VoG or CE depending on the comparison trump both examples unfortunately.

This was very early game it helped most players to hit 29 have decent weapons to do some of the raid. And unless you've seen the New 2.0 queen weaps how do you know they're not on par with ce weaps

Because if they give 2.0 queen weapons the standard treatment of 300->331 the cannon still does not have primary element which will be less favored versus the very imminent CE hardmode or fatebringer and supremacy still loses out to black hammer white nail or IB.

The gun is not all about if it has elemental it is about the perks and if it anything like last qw the sniper is random perks and maybe in 2.0 there will be more variation to gun drops
