Missing 20 times is entirely feasible, if you've ever used it before.
While I'm certainly open to the idea of something completely different for the SGA, I'm not the one making any decisions here. I was trying to make sure none of my suggestions made the play style for the weapon deviate too drastically, though admittedly, this would make the SGA play nothing like it does now. I believe it would make it play as the developers intended it to, as a bullet hose, rather than a missing machine.

Edited by dogsheet_player: 1/8/2015 7:30:03 PMmissing twenty times is entirely feasible, but missing twenty times in a row might be a little outlandish. we can all agree tht as it is now, the SGA isnt a gun you would pick over mythoclast or ice breaker, or evn truth. im just saying tht ur idea can backfire if you are a truly good player, or are more reservative in your playing style so tht u sav up quite a bit of ammo. ive reached max heavy in crucible with friends very easily, and a weapon like tht would be unfair. PS, i hav used it and the recoil as it is now is not even tht bad. it is entirely controllable and i hav no problem using it. i just feel tht a ammo ability doesnt really fit on a weapon like this.

I don't follow. Nobody has to miss 20 times in a row. The entire idea is to reward players who are exceptionally accurate and smart with it. Even with controllable recoil (which, I've used it since the buff, it's still far worse than a lot of more popular MGs) virtually every player will have to deal with over-spraying. While most MGs can kill in three or four shots, very few players can control their fire to only what is necessary, and so at least one round would miss every time it was fired.

maybe, but the fact is tht if the land 19/20 of the shots fired, if you hit them 20/21 ull still end up with a full magazine. the clip can fill so long as u keep firing. the missing twenty times in a row is about ur hypothetical clip size and having to reload.
