my opinion: red death- agree with u, universal also agree with you. for a shotty, it isnt very good. especially since it is taking away a slot for a scout or auto. NLB- definately, its pretty bad. it doesnt evn fell like a sniper to me. it feels more like a carbine or actual rifle off of COD waw. 4th horseman, srry im on xbox. seen gameplay but wasnt impressed. gunna agree with you on tht too. i feel Hardlight does need a tiny boost, but lets just give it a little more impact. necrochasm is going to b arc, so there really isnt any reason for it to be arc. SGA is where i disagree. u made a good point about how it promotes spray and pray mechanics instead of actual skill, but i think ur idea of a buff is too much. if u had 200+ heavy tht could all be in one clip, think of how horrible tht would be if they all camped. it would matter if the missed one shot, because all they would hav to do is hit you a couple more times to get back to full clip. it would be too much. i doubt anyone is so bad tht they would miss twenty times in a row. (wouldn't want that person in a raid -_-). if anything, i think tht they should take off the SGA original perk completely on the weapon. it just isnt a good perk to go along with the weapon class. they should giv it something like dead-eye off of COD ghost( stacking kills grants random additional damage, but only for a short while. if you stop killing, the perk dissapears until ur next streak) and also throw on something like crowd control. that way thunder-lord would be the precision LMG, and SGA would be more of a close range LMG tht rewards quick skillful kills with the random damage bonuses to help clutch you through more fights. also actual hav the weapon talk, like they do on Borderlands 2. it would be purely cosmetic, and giv a little incentive to use the weapon. hav it call out when an enemy is spotted on the radar, or tell you when to reload. or make fun of you wen you miss.

I'm afraid you misunderstand what I suggested for the SGA. With a magazine of 20, a typical heavy ammo pickup in the Crucible would give a player 30 rounds or so, and maximum capacity would be around 60. Suppose you shot at a player 12 times and hit him 4 of those times. You would lose 8 rounds total, because the 4 that connected would return, leaving you with 12 rounds left in the magazine.

  • No, I completely understood what u meant. But it gives you a clip and a little extra. Not just thirty. Usually, at least. But tht isn't wat I was disagreeing with u about. Ur suggesting an unlimited clip design. No reload( unless u miss 20 times) and tht was my problem. Tht is why I suggested to completely take the ammo shitt of of SGA and put on something tht complements it

  • Missing 20 times is entirely feasible, if you've ever used it before. While I'm certainly open to the idea of something completely different for the SGA, I'm not the one making any decisions here. I was trying to make sure none of my suggestions made the play style for the weapon deviate too drastically, though admittedly, this would make the SGA play nothing like it does now. I believe it would make it play as the developers intended it to, as a bullet hose, rather than a missing machine.

missing twenty times is entirely feasible, but missing twenty times in a row might be a little outlandish. we can all agree tht as it is now, the SGA isnt a gun you would pick over mythoclast or ice breaker, or evn truth. im just saying tht ur idea can backfire if you are a truly good player, or are more reservative in your playing style so tht u sav up quite a bit of ammo. ive reached max heavy in crucible with friends very easily, and a weapon like tht would be unfair. PS, i hav used it and the recoil as it is now is not even tht bad. it is entirely controllable and i hav no problem using it. i just feel tht a ammo ability doesnt really fit on a weapon like this.

  • I don't follow. Nobody has to miss 20 times in a row. The entire idea is to reward players who are exceptionally accurate and smart with it. Even with controllable recoil (which, I've used it since the buff, it's still far worse than a lot of more popular MGs) virtually every player will have to deal with over-spraying. While most MGs can kill in three or four shots, very few players can control their fire to only what is necessary, and so at least one round would miss every time it was fired.

  • maybe, but the fact is tht if the land 19/20 of the shots fired, if you hit them 20/21 ull still end up with a full magazine. the clip can fill so long as u keep firing. the missing twenty times in a row is about ur hypothetical clip size and having to reload.
