What do you think "Forge of Gods" DLC will be about.
I'm just really curious, I like Destiny Lore so I would LOVE to hear your theories.
I think Forge of Gods is about the creation of the traveler and why it is giving us technology and helping us. Probably the raid is about killing the traveler since there is people that say the traveler is EVIL, and is just using us to help it self, making it selfish.
Anyways that's all I got, hope to read your theories soon.

Just thought you would want to know.[/quote] I checked that out, and I confirmed that what he said is correct since I have a bunch of video clips saved of me playing each strike for the first time, and luckily I checked that cave back then. So FOG will be something about a drill/mine and they will find something? We are not sure yet.

14 RepliesWe still don't really know what happened to Xivu Arath and Savathun. Oryx's sisters. We can probably assume oryx consumed them to become The Final Shape but they could still be out there. And at the heart of that we have the worms, do they simply find another host or die? Other than that the cabal were sending out a transmission to some cabal commander, we don't know much about them but nobody ever wants to mess with them for some reason. But I like the idea of having something to do with the Traveler, it's inactive. Maybe we bring it back to life, not that it's dead but it's been running for a reason, maybe to find the other parts it's missing. Who knows...

Hopefully it will be a cabal dlc. Considering we already had 2 hive and a fallen, and technically the game launched as a vex story.

It would be about the Cabal invading Earth to abduct the Traveller, not kill it since it would finish the Destiny franchise. We would save the Traveller from the Cabal Emperor/Empress. Then the Traveller would leave us and we would be left with a dim light.

Being tied to the cabal, i get the feeling that its gonna be something like they find some kind of relic or something that lets them quickly or easily create ships or weapons or something, kinda like the star forge

Let me give you something to think over, I might not be right but who knows? First DLC: Hive Related, Second DLC: Fallen Related. Huge Expansion(technically third): The Taken King(kinda related to the hive). If you think about it like this, we're going to get four small DLC's surrounding each enemy race, the next two small DLC's will be about the Vex And Cabal, I assume. Vex DLC might go more into Atheon and what the Vex have planned for everything or maybe something entirely new. The fourth and final small DLC however, will most likely be centered around the Cabal. Evidence of this? One mission in The Taken King has us set to go look in the crashed Cabal ship and look into the signal that it's transmitting. Towards the end of the mission your ghost states that the transmission was sent to the [b][u]Head Of The Cabal Empire.[/u][/b] This meaning that the message would've been transmitting long enough for whomever was listening to get a good idea of what was happening to the Cabal. Maybe the main head of the Cabal is the raid boss? Lastly, I want to point something out, when your in orbit and a description pops up of whatever planet your heading onto, read it. Venus: [i]The jungles of Venus conceal great treasurers- and terrible power[/i] This is referencing the Vault Of Glass, Moon/Luna: [i]An ancient evil stirs beneath the shattered surface of our moon[/i] This is referencing Crota's End. Finally we have Mars: [i]In the sandswept carcass of a lost city, dark forces gather for war[/i] this description by itself should be referencing the Cabal raid. The Cabal are gathering for a future war that has yet to come, one where the leader of the Cabal empire arrives to gain control over everything and take anything out that stands in its way.
