What do you think "Forge of Gods" DLC will be about.
I'm just really curious, I like Destiny Lore so I would LOVE to hear your theories.
I think Forge of Gods is about the creation of the traveler and why it is giving us technology and helping us. Probably the raid is about killing the traveler since there is people that say the traveler is EVIL, and is just using us to help it self, making it selfish.
Anyways that's all I got, hope to read your theories soon.

Just thought you would want to know.[/quote] I checked that out, and I confirmed that what he said is correct since I have a bunch of video clips saved of me playing each strike for the first time, and luckily I checked that cave back then. So FOG will be something about a drill/mine and they will find something? We are not sure yet.

If you really think about it all the bosses we kill were gods right? Well crota was a hive god and oryx so was atheon a vex time god. So maybe we fight them all at once. Let me know!

I bet it'll have to do with a Vex mind attaining near godlike capabilities. Mercury will have a patrol, it'll all be based around preventing said Vex mind from gaining these powers at the center of Mercury beneath its machinated surface. Brotherhood of Osiris will be present to assist us, maybe we might even see friendly combat AI start to inhabit planets and get into fights with the enemies. Maybe even quests in the field from small outposts and such since the City will have more resources now that we're stronger. The Vex will be the main enemy, perhaps the Cabal will gain a stronger presence on Mars and most of the Vex in system have gone to Mercury to protect their mind.

The vanguard fears the cabal, did you know that? They know that the cabal we've seen are likely just a forward scouting group, sent to soften us up for a major assault. I doubt they will send the cabal emperor, but In forge of gods, we'll probably face a highly skilled general or commander. Note also that the cabal have been known to destroy entire planets. Maybe that will be the big threat in the dlc. We'll have to stop them before they annihilate us and the traveler. The raid, like before, will probably be our finishing blow to the cabal. We still have a vex dlc though, so it's probably best not to speculate too much. Whatever it is, it's probably going to be a massive pain in the ass.

If anyone did the Taken War: Mars Mission, you should recall that at the end Commander Zavala says that there was a signal sent to the like, head honcho of the cabal and that he is coming to attack us... Foreshadowing to Forge of Gods? Mayhaps. Not 100% sure if that is was Zavala said, but it was along those lines.

It's gunna be a cabal dlc. Mostly facing the cabal empire. The cabal are ruthless and do not take failure very well. I'm actually more excite for the vex dlc slated for release on the dark below anniversary and the forge of God's on the house of wolves anniversary

Or anything for that matter (i seem to recall reading that thisll be the last dlc of year two, so correct me if I'm wrong) Probably something cabal related, maybe fighting their emperor (shit, wer killing major figures from all the other enemy races, so why the -blam!- now?)
