I lol when people say this. My friend and I can go through it just two of us, so in theory even if we had 4 level 27s we could get through it. We take our friends underleveled alts through it all the time and vice versa. Don't be one of those level douches, those are the worst people in destiny. I won't play with people I don't know anymore mainly because of this. If you're gonna be a dick about levels then play with yourself.

Level douche bags? You can easily get 30 light from tower gear so why don't you do that before the raid? It is called being polite when you join strangers and expect to help out. If you are their friends then it is alright to join as level 27; however, level 27 can't damage anything since everything is level 32 aka coming up as immune. I hate it when you self righteous douchebags think I am a dick for saying "hey please rejoin once you have 30 light gear" to strangers who join my game and expect a free carry when they are holding the group back by doing less damage and dying after one hit. If it was a level 31 that didn't know what he/she was doing I try my best to help them understand the fight before kicking them since I understand having gear is nothing without experience just as having experience is nothing with gear aka if you are level 27 or 28 I highly doubt you can do anything in the raid at that point. To prove me wrong, make a fire team of 6 level 28s not fire team of 4 27s and 2 30+ because that defeats the purpose since those level 27s did jack shit.
