A crutch makes things easier, if you're so elite why have a problem with someone building thier character to make things easy? They sacrifice orb making but when your fireteam wipes on nightfall because u got stuck on a rock they save the entire team. Personally I think res is less fun. I don't think self res is a crutch, it's a sacrifice for the team.
