Self revive is completely useless in PvP. I think you need to rethink your claims.
[spoiler]Saying it's not really any use in PvP either - no, it's completely useless in PvP. In PvE they are vary useful for many reasons, the main one being the life saver of a team who wiped. Get a clue.[/spoiler]
