A crutch for the weak? So self-res isn't useful when everyone dies in the nightfall and you res, revive your team mates and finish the boss? Or is it not useful when in VoG hardmode your at the confluxes and your team (Christmas noobs that you are helping out) all die causing you to bring out gjallahorn and kill everything but die from the templar shooting you then res and continue devastating the vex until legions?
