I use self-rez, but I will use it to prevent a wipe. Sure it can be used to pick me up when I'm down, but that also means that someone doesn't have to risk death to pick me up. It also means I can rush into a group of mobs that are attacking and pick someone up, die, self-rez, and then get out of the situation without risking the remaining members of the team. If the team is getting overwhelmed, I can pop it and set the world on fire to give the team a minute to breath as well. Consider it like using a Swiss army knife. One super, multiple uses. Not to mention that in CE I shit orbs because of my gauntlets, so in essence, I'm creating more orbs for my teammates than they are for me. Every class and its subclass has it's use in the game. Stop with the class bashing and work together with the community instead of against it.
