I'm going to assume he didn't just "go full retard" I'm positive it's a way of life for the op. If he's so good and doesn't believe in crutches I suggest that he stops using class abilities altogether and only game with others who refuse to use class abilities. I'd also suggest if he wants to test his full abilities that he only use non exotic weapons and non legendary weapons because those are crutches too.
