Well, the symptoms also mentioned shaking uncontrollably, occasional vomiting, flu symptoms, mild to severe headaches, nerve spasms, and an odd redish haze forming on the skin. I think your body has the ability to fight it off or even kill it.
Regardless, your team wasn't bad at all, they just...weren't themselves. Don't dwell on it. Go have a little fun.
