Thoughts on Fixing Strikes? Doors?

BOSS FIGHTS The boss fights should actually be easier (66% health of current health, 15% less damage) and involve 1 simple mechanic, maybe 2 in a nightfall (exclude the weekly). Less enemies spawn, a slow trickle for ammo is fine. If you don't kill them they eventually overwhelm you but there shouldn't be stuff like 3 wizards spawning (Phogoth) as the main enemy should be the boss. Pretty much make an actual boss fight, not a bullet sponge target practice session. Increase aggression, maybe decrease damage slightly to balance the more frequent attacks. EX: A simple mechanic for the nexus would be Sekrion having full shields and destroying a respawning generator (every 3 minutes, goblin major health levels) above him/the shield would disable it for damage. Easily done, not hard at all. In a nightfall, add dark burden or something like vestiges. WEEKLY STRIKE For those saying they want to solo the strikes, ^^^ already makes it a bit easier already. I think the weekly strike should at least have matchmaking, but the nightfall is part of the end-game, same as raids. The weekly strike would now give a legendary item, whether it be an engram (high chance), materials, or gear in addition to coins. (post parmesan to prove you're actually reading). The non-hardcore or solo players can now get some rewards while leaving the nightfall to be taken as a challenge. DAIRY PRODUCTS The cheese justifications of "no friends" (that's sad D:) is nulled by weekly matchmaking and so are the rewards. You still get your legendary stuff and coins to buy xur's exotic wares. Exotic drops are reserved for the nightfall. You still have the same opportunity to get them from a weekly same as the strike playlists. A.k.a. you might end up with red death instead of a legendary item. NIGHTFALL Either find some friends or get better and attempt a solo based on skill. The end-game content (raids/nightfalls) should be for end-game players. The player who picks up the game every now and then can still get their coins, legendary items, etc. at a non-hardcore pace via improved weekly strikes. To balance the new legendary items in weeklies, nightfalls now drop 2 rewards, coins omitted due to weekly matchmaking. Of course there would be additional challenges. Omnigul might shoot out vestiges, phogoth might have a new slam attack (shockwave), or Septiks Prime might have orbitars powering a shield. Nightfalls are still difficult and made for the hardcore, end-game players. pretty much C&P from my comment on Datto's vid. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gbr2tIA5Y8k&list=WL&index=6 edit 1: formatting, etc. edit 2: clearing up first point.
