Justify cheesing crota.
If you cheese crota, here are my assumptions of you.
1. It's too hard for you.
2. You're lazy.
3. You have never learned to do it the right way.
4. You think there's no problem with it.
5. You think it's cool.
6. You think it's bungie's fault.
7. You did it once and think bungie owes you a level 32 character.
8. "I don't have time" when you've played 700+ hours.
When the hard raid comes out and you're walking around clueless, I will laugh in your face and boot anyone who asks how to kill crota legit.
Edit: seems like everyone claims they can't find 5 other people. Not a valid reason. My friend did it solo and I did it with only one other person in 3 minutes. So try something else.
Edit 2: So, it comes down to this. People either agree with me or they hate me because they can't do it legit. I love these people! Haha.

I've done it legit at least 5 times. When we cheese it, it usually because I'm helping a low level friend. Or because one of my friends is short on time. What is your justifying reason for doing it legit?

1 ReplyThis isn't "cheese"...it's "cheating" because it involves intentionally disconnecting. Cheesing is using certain hiding spots like in Nexus or Cerberus Vae.

You know so I don't have to deal with him teleporting to the bottom level or him dropping down but getting back up right away or not going down at all when his shields are gone or the sword disappearing or no sword drop. With so many glitches that effect a player negatively it's no surprise players complete it the easiest way possible.

The entire raid is so easy. I'm not gonna lie I have cheesed it but I have beat it legit multiple times. Its only hard when you have people that don't listen or do something dumb and die

I raided 12 times on Crota last week just to help people finish and I did the Glasshouse deliberately so Clan members wouldnt have to look for it outside our circle. I than ran several Nightfalls and Weeklies and Bounties just to help out. 3. The right way is the way that works 4. There isnt. But I prefer non-cheese. 5. nothing cool about a means to an end. 6. Nope. never thought of that. Ever. 7. Didnt think of that either. 8. It takes 3 to four cycles at most to kill Crota. 3 at most if you have a 32 guy swiping him. Let people play how they want.

I cheese only because the rewards are so scarce I honestly enjoy doing the whole raid legit but getting that time to do it right is hard. I can't wait for the hard raid to come out!

I did it legit the first time. Cheesed every other time so I can do it three times in an afternoon and play gta or cod with my friends that don't have destiny

Lol. I cheese it on ps4. And I do it legit on Xbox one. Raid is not hard. Every random group I get in don't know how to kill the deathsinger fast or have any idea at all. Because everyone skips that part.

Why put forth all your effort when you are likely to get screwed in the end. If I'm only gonna get 2 shards like I did yesterday. Then I don't want to take the time and effort to bet it legit. I'm not saying I'm always gonna cheese it. I'll do whatever the rest of my party wants to do. But we aren't getting rewarded for effort, just completion. Based on that, why does anyone care if people cheese? Is it because you feel special that you beat the raid legit and need to tear down anyone who chose to do it the easy way? Do you not know how to cheese and mad that no one will show you how? What's the point in beating it legit other than knowing that you did? Or is it also for bragging rights and this is your way of bragging?

I beat it multiple times with my regular raid groups legitimately. I have also spent more time than I care to admit trying to help inadequate randoms. If I'm in a group of randoms and someone suggests it, I won't fight it. Why do I care if randoms aren't prepared when it gets patched? If black wax idols worked and you got sizeable xp (7500+) for the major checkpoints I would be more inclined to grind it out with randoms.
