If I take your wallet and you file charges against me, then you agree and have confirmed to others that I exist AND I took your wallet; because if I don't exist, then I can take nothing from you. :D

Ah, but you just said I "haven't stolen your wallet," meaning your wallet exists and I have the potential to exist and take your wallet. I now have no more need to prove my existence because the potential to exist whether I'm seen or not is enough to confirm I could exist and therefore, there is no proof to give to say I don't exist. By proving I could exist, it can then be accepted that I do exist simply because I say I do.
