exactly. this game, and many other games are essentially slot machines. you think your actions, pulling the lever of the slot machine, or in this case, grinding Strikes, Crucible matches or raids, are contributing or should be contributing to the final results, but that's just an illusion. It's all random, at least as random as the casinos or Bungie wants to make it. This is by no means a complaint. I got a second Icebreaker and a second MIDA from the Crucible within 3 days. Both matches I did terribly.
