As much as I like getting cheap exotics, Xur has ruined the game. Some people farm for weeks to get, let's say Gjallarhorn, while others buy it for a cheap price of 17 Coins. Bit broken?

Don't start this "earned from RNG" b.s. It literally is random and you think you earned it? I got mine from a random drop from Atheon and I wouldn't mind if Xur sold it.

I'm pretty sure he only sold ghorn one time and that was like the third week of the game so I bet you hardly anyone had the strange coins for that so no that's a lie ghorns are all luck

You worked for the coins, and items to buy it from Xur. THAT'S what earning means. Worked and got the items needed to get the items by earning them in the Nightfall and Weekly, and hoping engrams give you coins as well. You get it as a reward? You got lucky and that's it. Simple.

Dont farm for exotics.. theres no real way to do it. If you get an exotic as a drop, you didn't earn it you got lucky and that's awesome. If you're farming for a specific weapon well youre going to have a bad time. If by farm for weeks you mean run the nightfall and raids every week and got it as a lucky drop well youre going to have a bad time

Edited by Rex: 1/4/2015 10:55:44 PMyeah dude you're right, this game infact all games are about having fun, you shouldnt GRIND for the exotics you want, you shouldnt waste hours and hours on that one vanguard roc or tiger strike and hoping RNG to drop an exotic. Dude enjoy the game and you will be suprised of the reward at the end of the stike, nightfall, raid ect. Do the activity for the fun of it the reward at the end is just to reward you with the hard work. I enjoy this game so much, and the rewards that i have 3 characters, and when complete every activity i delete my 3rd character. Make a new one amd rank it up to level 20 again and do every activity all over. This is what i do every week, i dont grind the game. Just have fun.
