RUNESCAPE - What level were you? What items did you have?
If you think you are grinding in Destiny, you should have seen how it was in Runescape lol. MILLIONS AND MILLIONS OF XP PER SKILL.
Would you play Runescape if it came to Xbox/Playstation lol? And had REAL graphics. The #1 player was Zezima in RS2 for a while.
I played Runescape 2 in like 2006, 8th grade with all of my friends. You had to watch out for trading scammers lmao.
I was mainly a ranger/wizard hybrid at level 88, and loved it. I even had a Robin Hood hat which was like a few million GP.
I remember being a Lumbridge noob, and then questing throughout the lands for items.
I remember Castle Wars, and the various armors/weapons, from picking either Zamarok, Saradomin, or Guthix.
SO MANY WAYS TO MAKE $. I mostly mined or crafted. Pvp in the wilderness was pretty fun haha until clans destroyed you.
AND THE DROP PARTIES. POPPING BALLOONS AND GETTING BIG ITEMS. Wave2: Buying rune scimmy, 100K.
So, if you did play it, what did you have? When did you play? What level were you? (i.e. combat, + your skills)
DAMN, MOST OF YOU WERE LEVEL 100+ with 50+M. I only had like 8m lmao :(
I MISS THE QUESTS. SO MANY. AND PVP WAS FUN IN THAT.

Played back in 02-05. Good times. It was all about the Rune 2 Hander and party hats selling for 100k on server 1 in Varrock, or Falador if you weren't having any luck in the big city. Going into the Wilderness with nothing but your R2H, diamond amulet and Rune chest and 20 cooked lobsters incase you died and lost everything, trying to 3 hit noobs. Great game, quit when it went to the first 3D version

EOC - when this came along I quit and came back to give it a try. I was 200 ofcourse. I did vorago and KK but I didn't enjoy runecape anymore. I had the best memories playing runescape. Before EOC I was with this clan Last of PvM. I thought I was going to join zer0 or PSO, but I didn't. The clan battles were amazing. Fighting at bandos and corp. those were some good times. I wasn't into PvP a lot but bossing. One summer I spent the whole time grinding at nex. I made 80mil from it. I was a slight scrub then. I became better and I was kind of RS famous. I didn't have millions upon millions but I was good enough to hang with the best My name was l kanye l. Runecape has gone to shit now

1 ReplyI played WAY back. I'm talking 2D only, PvP everywhere. The cows by Lumbridge and Wizard Circle south of Varrock were where everyone was grinding. Archers would line up at the fence to try and get kills, steal your raw meat and fire runes.

Game got boring so I quit. Amassed about 1.5bill gp, traded it all for items on tf2. Later went back for the hell of it, account was banned for real world trading. I laughed pretty hard.

Er 74 maybe 75 I think. Was a member a while, stopped playing, went back to it as a non member with my dragon weapon equipped. Went to do that dragon slayer quest. Though it'd be a good idea to equip my bow (which de-quips the anti dragon shield) and got one shot, losing the dragon weapon. So I stopped. Then thought I'd check it out see how it's changed. Made somewhere between 700k-1mil by selling ashes on the exchange. No lie, buy willow logs I think it was, burn them, collect the ashes, sell. Gives a nice profit and you don't have to leave the exchange :P If it came to PS4, with better graphics, better control (which would be a given user a controller rather than clicking) Added skills (I know they've sort of done that now, but everything in the game to me doesn't feel like I'm directly in control. Like the movement having to click then you click somewhere else and it carrys on lag running before turning. And lastly if it was no subscription then yes. I'll pay subscription for PC, but not for console, why I didn't get the Final fantasy. No idea why :P

4 RepliesLevel 178, all stats over 90 except summoning and Prayer at 99. I had a 400m bank. Was banned last year for major Macroing, which I was falsely accused of. Sent proof of the incident that I was pvping at that time. Appeal still pending. Whatever.

1 ReplyI was probably the laziest player. Played for like 7 years from 2006 never got over 5m and never got a 99, or over lvl 100... Not on a regular basis though. I got banned last year.. I was going for 99 fishing on oldschool scape :/. Oh man.. I remember i got lured into the wild and died with full bronze. I was so mad that i told my friend, and he was like dude i have "addy". I was like wtf is addy?? And then i went to the blacksmith and saw it costed like 5x more than bronze. xD. 83 magic and 85 woodcutting all gone man.

I had multiple rares, including h'ween masks and Santa hats, scythes, bunny ears.... And sold the account for a solid $1600 with everything on it. Since, I've been using the money to buy: Destiny ghost edition Evolve with statue ($750, cannot wait for this baby) And will be buying the ($250 halo 5) Edit*** that's all also after 411 days in game. 1/18th of my life ... Please don't do what I did.
