I like the idea of a healer or support class, which I feel that Sunsinger tries to be but fails miserably. The only "support" that a Sunbro can do is reducing cooldowns while in Super a la Song of Flame. This is despite being advertised as a "support" class. Nah, Sunbros are grenade spammers with a self rez and that is about it.
Easy fix: I think that Song of Flame should be retuned to not only reduce cooldowns but also give a buff to increase damage of nearby players.
Medium fix: Give each class a different permanent buff which will help separate each class's roll within a raid.
Striker: Melee kills have a chance to generate Orbs.
Defender: Standing nearby a defender for x seconds grants a small damage shield
Gunslinger: Precision kills have a chance to generate Orbs
Bladedancer: Increased stagger from melee hits
Voidwalker: Kills with Void abilities grant nearby allies bonus damage
Sunsinger: Nearby allies cooldowns regeneration is enhanced.
