Really? Proper English? You do know English as a language started in the UK right? And that in the UK, the common date format is dd/mm/yy? I'd say I'm not the one doing it wrong.

Yes, when you SAY the date IN ENGLISH, you say the month first, but in this topic it was written down as numbers, not as spoken. Also my '1 januari 2015' was in response to 'you would say/you would not say' to which I responded with what I would ACTUALLY say. And yes, I travel. So do you, good for you. Have fun on your travels

Thus, it is written; 02/01/2015 or 2/1/15 Even more reasoning: When looking on a calendar, what's the first thing you have to find? The month. THEN the day. And don't even bother saying year, because the year is irrelevant since there is only one year on a calendar.
