• But a good one a that will work until people stop throwing together the date at random. It's either small to big (dd/mm/yy) or big to small (yy/mm/dd). Not L0lzZ let's just mix this up (mm/dd/yy)

  • Just because you can't think well enough to figure it out: it's in direct order. January 2nd, 2015 1/2/15 You are a moronic troll.

  • No no no. It's not correct. The classic American mistake, thinking you are the center of the universe. Out of the ways to arrange dates globally, the American way makes the least sense. Fact.

We're not the center of the universe, no one ever said I thought so. Classic moron mistake, thinking they know anything about an individual that they have never met. January 2nd, 2015, makes sense. 2nd January 2015, does not. If you prefer another way, fine, do it another way. But do not tell someone else they're wrong, or stupid when you are in fact the ignorant one. EDIT: And do not act as though there is no other way to do something when there are HUNDREDS of ways to do everything.

  • Keep talking, it will never make sense. You guys just like shit that makes no sense, face it: You take the medium length piece of time, place it first. Then the shortest, then the longest. Sense would be short medium long or long medium short. Same with length, here is sense: 10 mm is 1 cm. 10 cm is 1 decimeter. 10 decimeter is 1 meter. 10 meter is 1 decameter. 10 decameter is 1 hectometer. 10 hectometer is 1 km. Sense! Nonsense: 12 inch is one foot, 3 feet is a yard, 1760 yards is a mile... I guess there were a LOT of strong drinks being served when they though this one up, huh? Same with liquids, same with weights...

  • While I agree about the feet yard mile bs. When you SAY the date, write it down the same way.
januari
Can't even spell. *January And you don't say "it's one January two thousand fifteen " You say "it's January first, two thousand fifteen"

  • That's the way you were taught. It is not proper English. Thus, incorrect in this context.

  • Really? Proper English? You do know English as a language started in the UK right? And that in the UK, the common date format is dd/mm/yy? I'd say I'm not the one doing it wrong.

In proper English, you say the month, day then the year. You then write it down as it is said. And I know how it's done in other parts of the world. I'm not some ignorant fool such as yourself. I've actually traveled to different areas to study other cultures. You think I got my name from an American??

  • And how am I supposed to know this is your real name? Or did you think my parents named me Scythe NL? Yes, when you SAY the date IN ENGLISH, you say the month first, but in this topic it was written down as numbers, not as spoken. Also my '1 januari 2015' was in response to 'you would say/you would not say' to which I responded with what I would ACTUALLY say. And yes, I travel. So do you, good for you. Have fun on your travels

Yes. So I write 2 januari 2015. Period. Or, 02/01/2014 in date format.

You are a thick headed moron. You don't say "one January two thousand fifteen." You DO say "January first, two thousand fifteen." Thus, it is written; 02/01/2015 or 2/1/15 Even more reasoning: When looking on a calendar, what's the first thing you have to find? The month. THEN the day. And don't even bother saying year, because the year is irrelevant since there is only one year on a calendar.
