This past weekend. Helping a Kinder-Guardian (lvl 25) through his first VoG. Every chest and reward for me were Ascendant Shards. No energies. No weapons. No armor. Just shards. Which I don't need (have 150 now). Atheon dies and all I see are shards and a chatter white shader. Energies, I could use. But shards? I have too many now.

Won a crucible match and in 1st ( rare for me I know!) and got nothing. A 0.52 kd in 5th place gets an exotic engram. Go figure...
