You can. Because it's not an in game exploit. Your useing the network to your advantage. Same as causing people to lag in the old halo 2 so you can get easy kills.

  • My only question would be how could Bungie prove that the player actually manipulated the network versus actually getting kicked or having network issues?

  • Easily. If you are getting "kicked" every crota fight, it's probably not the connection

No you can't lol you really are an idiot if you think you can get banned for something that you can do on a game without abusing the TOS, signing out isn't a violation so therefore killing crota for kneeling isn't an offence. Yes it's cheesing, yes it should be patched and yes it shouldn't be allowed. But no one is going to get banned for doing it.

  • So network manipulation isn't a bannable offense anymore?

  • The way I read the TOS it states it is against the TOS to modify damage or disrupt sony's network. That paragraph to me doesn't seem like disconnecting from the game on your end is disrupting sony's network. So technically the crota cheese isn't a bannable offense.

How could you tell the difference from it being an accident and actually knowing wether you where using "Network Manipulation" to do so? You can't.

  • And if they would ban about 60% of the players would be banned or even more.
