Network exploitation and quitting the game are completely different. Bungie, nor Microsoft does not have the right or power to say "you are not allowed to quit playing our game", which is what this will boil down too. Players using the quit option, not messing with the wifi option or turning a modem off, or lag switching etc. It's a very unstable ground for the company, which is why no one is getting banned

It is manipulation of the in game network. Quitting the game is fine. Quitting the game to manipulate data in game is a different animal. Despite unresearched opinions by some of the community, this type of behavior is and can be tracked. The overuse of this will be flagged by the server. A few times is highly unlikely however.

Yes it may manipulate the network, but you can't tell ayers or ban them for using the "quit" option. Trust me, no one will ever get banned for quitting destiny, regardless of the manipulation, because the players are using the quit option. It really is cut and dry
