Two of my friends cheesed him not more than a day or so ago and got Hard Light and Dragon's Breath on separate occasions. It's all RNG, doesn't matter if you cheese or not.

It takes about 5 minutes to beat him legitimately, it's not that grand of an accomplishment as some people make it out to be. When they patch it, and they will, people will adjust and it'll be business as usual. They patched Atheon, people cried for a week about it being too difficult but after a while, everyone was back to taking his lunch money and other goodies.

Trust me I know in probably 20 completions I haven't cheesed him yet, I'll be kinda pissed when I get my Necrochasm and I see a while bunch of people running around with it the week after that cheesed him and don't deserve it like the Vex.
