Friend of Mine just reported five people from LFG that wanted to force him to glitch Crota
So this friend of mine was in a Lobby with 5 people from Destinylfg, and all was fine up until Crota. Then after 3 failed Crota attempts the first guy starts: "Let us just glitch him". All besides my friend bent over, he dropped and was pissed enough to report them all for Cheating. Sent the Stats, too.
This is how fair Players handle things. He is a Legend and the 5 with him in the Lobby are scum.

Can confirm that it doesn`t affect people who do it right:
Just got the Raidmg from Crota.
Would be a good way from Bungie to make their effortlessness fruitless.
Also: Hint that at least an official statement will come the next days.

They only ban for exploits that affect other players. The only people to get banned so far are the heavy ammo glitchers in crucible. PS: No one gives a damn.

It's actually very easy to beat Crota legit. Blade Dancer Hunter absolutely destroys him. The first time we did it it took 2 attempts

Edited by HerroItsAJ: 12/25/2014 6:38:46 PMidk i was on my bros account trying to beat it for him and we beat it legit. since he was lvl 30 i got ohk by the boomers and the oversoul got summoned another player died and the oversoul didnt summon. i self revived quickly right after i died. we took down crotas shield and he knelt. crota only had a little health left and we were sure we were gonna get taken out by the oversoul but in he end we won against the oversoul by killing crota first it was exhilarating. and my bro only got shards

So at least they tried it legit 3 times. Your friend was a part of the team right? So he shares responsibility for their failure. Sounds like he has no right to complain. Someone else was probably trying to help the group succeed and be a team player, instead of someone who obviously takes games and themselves a little too seriously. Them vs your friend, to me they seem the more helpful gamers..

Who cares! How does people cheesing in PvE harm you? It doesn't! If it was in PvP then it's understandable but it's not! All of you reporting people for cheesing Crota or any other boss in Destiny are bitches! You need to worry about yourselves.

3 RepliesGroup I was in glitched the bridge. Didn't know what they were doing so I played along. I ended up getting the last piece of raid gear I needed for 32. Did the same for crota. I was working on the boomers while the rest cheesed him. Got the fusion rifle. What you hear about people only getting mats is bs. Its called the RNG

How many people are listing on their college applications and work resumes "Beat Crota 20 Times Legit"? Its a game. A game none of us should be playing this much. At a "casual" 178 hrs I am ashamed of myself. There was just a post from a guy who is quitting in disgust after 600 hours because he wasnt getting what he wanted from drops. Never hear someone say "I spent 600 hours in the gym and it didnt work out for me". This is not real life. Stop treating it that way.

Whether it's staying up top during the Templar fight, or having a hunter go invisible to make it across the bridge in crota, it's all about ensuring your time is spent the most efficient way possible. So how about you stop complaining about something that when you really think about it, couldn't possibly affect you in any way. And for that reason, your post is nothing more than pointless ranting and whining.

I can't wait till bungie patches everything and release the hard raid. Another thing I'm looking forward to is to read the forums after the patch about people quitting the game just like with the atheon and Templar patches.

And I plan on doing so till I find something better to waste my time with so please report me for cheating / glitching and watch as nothing happens because I'm not ruining the game for anyone else or effecting your gameplay at all. I'll cheese crota 50+ times a day like I did atheon before that. :)
