I see the same pattern developing here as with vault of glass.
At first the legit completion seems so difficult it takes more time than most people have to devote to a single activity in a digital world.
A set of weird exploits pop up and spread virally.
Everyone in too much a hurry to acquire every new weapon and armor piece starts using the exploits.
Then several weeks later the exploits get patched.
Everyone who didn't hit the rng jackpot via the temporary cheesy glitch window is forced to learn how to slow down and play better, develop better teamwork and communication and finish the raid legitimately.
People who got their highest level armor by cheating are forced to learn the real way to play and can actually help the rest who take a more relaxed and ethical approach because of their higher light level, regardless of how they got there.
I hope no one gets banned for turning to a widely publicized cheese or glitch exploit in this phase of the new raid. Bungie will learn to code better and players will learn to play better as the process unfolds.
What I am curious about is how many weirdo different techniques do the people who discover these exploits and glitches have to try before they find such bizarre things that actually work!?
You'd think in the time it takes to figure out how to make the glitches work we could figure out how to beat it legit. And we will. After the Holidays. Probably soon after the glitches and cheeses get patched. :-)
THEN Finally the achievement of completing the raid will really mean something.
Peace on Earth and on Destiny, all....
