I have never done this and I never will (just wanted to state this first). The only issue I see with this is [u]how do you prove you did this on purpose?[/u] I have been disconnected several times while playing destiny, some times my internet has completely cut off. How can you prove that the disconnect was caused to benefit from this exploit and not from someone's internet crashing. There is absolutely no way Sony could prove this unfortunately. I am afraid that innocent people will be banned because bungie needs to prove a point. What they should do is fix this exploit and leave it at that, no bans.

No no. One of my clan members is a professional programmer. He states that it is very simple to tell when it is on purpose and when it is random. Has to do with a lot of variables. One being same place in the game over and over and over. I.e. crota

Well that is if you do the exploit multiple times. Trust me, it is not possible for them to determine whether the plug was disconnected physically somewhere down the line or if it was because of an act outside of the players control involving an immediate cease in connection.

I am a programmer and he is right. If the catch on they will watch and see if it's the exact same time i.e. when crota is proposing.

You sir are ignorant when someone says you can get banned from doing a certain thing and then does their research and gives the exact words in the terms and conditions I would probably listen to them. On another note when someone says they have a friend, brother, sister, etc. that knows their shit or they are one I'd also listen to them me personally i took the hour and a half read of terms of service and know that a disconnection "glitch" isn't a glitch it's an exploit like head glitching it's most of the time not intentional but an exploit. I am a programmer. Certain and repetative variables can and will most likely result in banning of an account i.e. repetitively turning your console off to keep crota on his knees so you can win easier will be easily spotted. Now if it was once because the fireteam leader actually disconnected due to internet problems thats different. When you have one account repeatedly doing it every week on 3 characters someones account will be banned. Most likely they wil start with a warning letter and if it continues they will ban that account from the internet.
