Universal Remote - Yay or Nay?
I have mixed feelings about this primary shotgun,
Ammo is low
Range until upgraded(I guess) is short
Is PvP the only place it could shine if at all?
Edit: Right now it's collecting dust in my armory...
Edit2: More "meh"choices in poll, then Yay for a second, so people basically let it dust in armory, dismantle it or use it in pvp?

It's pretty much a gimmick weapon for PVP. Shotguns can one-shot, and once it gets it's upgrade, it has range out the ass (compared to other shotties.) However you gotta give up your primary for it, so you have no real mid-ranges options. But for shotty-trolling purposes, sure.

It's only viable in pvp and only if you have the 2 perks. It out ranges every other shotgun and if you are good at aiming towards the head it does pretty well. It's a lot of fun to use but is god awful in pve

Needs a buff. Amo, rate of fire and range needs tweaking in order to make it feel exotic.

It has 2 range perks on it and one gives bonus precision damage. It's -blam!-ing great for crucible, shots to the head will usually kill. Pve its sucks ass just like all shotguns.

More like Hell no. Waste of an exotic. If I'm gonna run around with a shotgun, my new Swordbreaker works wonders, and if that fails, Found Verdict is great too. Leaves the exotic slot open for a primary or heavy.

I like shotguns when used properly. What I mean by this, don't use it as a primary (unless of course you have the U R ) In control I will use my primary, but when I got to take a flag, I'll pull out my shot gun because in a CQC situation, you should use a shot gun over a bullet house.

2 RepliesIt's decent for PvP if you pair it with armor that has extra ammo and especially faster reload for shotgun, otherwise it reloads way too slow. Don't use it until the Universal Remote is switched on, it needs that extra range and precision damage. I have been one-shotted by them many times at decent range..

Have all the perks upgraded in it and run it with sniper with low zoom. Tried it out last night and it was surprising a lot of players. You can engage at long range with sniper and if they stay moving in to close to medium range turn a corner swap to the universal remote and surprise the sh1t them.

Xur hasn't sold it, so it's decently rare. However in some of the late game content it has no use. The universal remote was really designed for pvp

It's okay. Not awesome, not great. It may be good for people in pvp but PvE you've gotta be right up on someone.

I don't have it, but I'm not a big fan of shotguns as it is. I do enjoy the new four horseman but still not a huge fan for PvE

I keep all exotics. Its nice to have around in case i want to mess around and have alittle fun.

It sucks for everything but PvP. Im about to dismantle mine cause I don't even dear dwell in the realm of PvP.

Its just a trophy exotic like no land beyond. Will never really be practical and is just a bit of fun
