Maine... Sorry, I just thought Maine was... Awful. I mean, out of what we saw, he was just a brute who couldn't even speak because he almost got himself killed. Maine himself was garbage because all he had was brute strength.
Meta, however, was better (I consider Meta and Maine to be two completely different entities, because the whole concept of the Meta is an AI becoming mortal). Meta controlled almost all the AI, had the best equipment, had strength and brute training... Meta was kickass.

Yeah you're right now that I think of it. He wasn't that good but he was still a badass. Meta was almost unstoppable. RT made his presence so ominous in the Recollection trilogy.
-
They're going to bring him back in season 13 too... I don't believe he deserves a spot in the saga anymore, but that's just me.
-
Where'd you hear that?
-
Not hear as much as some reading in between the lines.
-
Ohh okay. I hope they aren't bringing the Meta back just for the sake of crowd pleasing.

Edited by Skank: 12/22/2014 1:46:24 AMChorus (Control) is the super bad company, helped by the raiders and a weapons and armor manufacturing super power, that was revealed at the end of season 12. It was also revealed by MOI that they used to dabble in Cryogenetics... So if they're proficient in preserving a body through those means... AND his gear was recovered... I think there's a goos chance Meta is coming back. Either that, or a Meta army (dwell on that for a second). Also, when project freelancer was discontinued, Chorus was able to steal some of their stuff at the last minute. I'm hoping to god that they didn't grab that celestial alien sarcophagus thing, because then they can just feed the Meta more AI... And then RvB is done for.
-
Ohhh that's right! I remember my mind was blown when I saw the metas armor. I had completely forgotten about the company at the end. That actually sounds pretty cool, as long as they pull it off correctly. I trust Miles so far. But that'd be insane if there was a meta army running around haha. Gonna go watch the last episode of season 12 again right now to jog my memory.
-
Prepare to have your mind reblown haha
-
Hearing the chairman's voice was quite exciting haha. But wow what a great way to end the season. Especially with the after credits scene. Can't wait for season 13. #suckourballs

I LOVED Church's letter to the Chairman. It shows that he had access to the mail back and forth between the two, and I thought it was hilarious as to how badly he roasted the chairman. The conversations between the Director and the Chairman was one of my favorite parts about Reconstruction.
-
Yeah me too, they really created a good atmosphere. And they made you very interested in the two characters. Glad they finally showed us the Chairman and are making him a more prominent character in the story. Haha roasting people is Church's forte. He never fails at making people feel like complete assholes. Although the Chairman didn't seem very phased, other than clearing up his schedule for the day. I wonder what his next move will be (he's probably wondering the same thing too). I wonder if the war will leave chorus. It'd be sweet if the Reds n Blues launched a small tactical assualt on the Chairman's ship only only to find some form of a Meta reincarnation, maybe an army or something like you said. But in the end all I really want is for Tucker to say bow chicka wow wow a few more times. I like his new role as the reluctant leader but he should still be his immature self sometimes.
-
Definitely. I'm not sure how I feel about Tucker being a leader in any capacity; but I do like how he's taking charge. I believe deep inside that Caboose is the only leader the Reds and Blues need... Jk. There needs to be some sort of Tucktocracy where the whole group votes, since Wash is too extreme to be a leader. But, the thing that haunts me still is: Where the hell is Junior?!? And I'm still waiting for sister to pop up randomly.
-
Haha I know! Junior would be such a good source of funny moments, it would make implementing humor easy and wouldn't take away from the story. Actually it'd be really cool if they end up stumbling onto him while on a mission in a old free lancer reaserch facility, or something like that. Junior could be like a teen living in the facility alone, and Tucker takes him under his wing and he becomes one of the reds and blues. He could be a similar character type to Lopez but without all the hatred towards his leaders haha. And Sister would be cool too if she just showed up every now and then. I'd love if at the resolution of the series, the reds and blues could return to blood gulch to create somewhat normal lives(or whatever there version of normal is), and they'd arrive to Sister and hundreds of other old Spartan IIs raving throughout the entire canyon haha, then cue some corny and nostalgic yet fitting scene between the remaining main characters and caboose -blam!-ing something up and then boom hit us with the original theme song and I'm satisfied.
-
You, just blew my mind... If this doesn't happen at the end of season 13: there must be more.
-
Haha yeah, something similar should happen eventually. They gotta to bring back all the favorite characters in some way or another every now and then.
-
I think i may have been the only one who was disappointed sister didn't come back, I thought she was funnier than Donut.
-
Yeah I agree, funnier than Doc sometimes too.
-
Doc is okay. I don't know how they plan on bringing him back, they are out of grenades...
-
Haha yeah good point
-
Granted, the grenades just teleport you right? Or did I miss something? If it's just teleportation, then Doc will find them eventually.
-
Yeah they are just teleportation grenades. Or as tucker likes to call them, Future Cubes.
-
So yeah, Doc is up and at it somewhere on Chorus.
-
Either that or he's stuck in teleport land haha that'd be funny, waiting to be brought back.
-
Lopez remembers he's gone though, so he'll do something probably
-
Yeah, Lopez knows all
