I got disconnected 30 seconds before my group defeated Crota. So not getting a loot drop was my worst.

Same thing happened to me when Atheon on hard was a thing. Three of my friends got the mythoclast. They felt pity for me so we continued to do it for another 3 hours until everyone gave up and I went to bed in shame.
