Many of us have tackled the new raid this past week with varying levels of success. While incredibly simple compared to the complexities of the Vault of Glass, Crota's little slice of heaven is by no means a walk in the park. Unless, of course, you enjoy walks in a dark abyss with poor road maintenance, swarmed by undead Smeagol's, huddling beside outdated LED bulbs for warmth before they detonate and blast your remains into the next life... Then yeah, it's paradise.
Crota's End might not be tricky, but it is difficult. Over the past week I've played with many of you. We've exchanged strategies, had each others' backs, and ultimately pushed through to the end. But the fun is only just starting.
Starting in January, we'll be faced with a new challenge: Crota's End, level 33. Based on precedent, we can assume our cheeseball methods will go out the window. The fact that this difficulty is being postponed means that there will likely be some modifications like VoG offered, such as restricted revives and detainment bubbles (damn detainment bubbles). We should all be working as a clan to strive for level 32 so we'll be ready for it. Invigorate member Matrix had the initiative to store completed bounties across all his characters, and swapped his newly acquired vendor gear around until it was leveled up. 6 hours into release day and he was level 31.
We can hit level 32 if we work together. That means raiding and nightfalls every week; same as before, you only need 3 pieces of raid gear and a new or upgraded exotic to reach 144 light, the current max.
Editor Note: I won't post every day, but I'll keep posting updated info that pertains to the clan, such as new strategies, Xur's wares, clan events, and more.
