From what i remember this was always an issues with plasma. I remember older plasma had the ghosting affect(trailing images).
One of the main reason why i never bought one. Of all my gaming buddies(we are an older crowd) none of us went with plasma tv for this reason

This is basically why I waited for LED technology to mature and prices to come down before buying an HDTV. Now we have a nice big TV that's dependable and bright and contrasty that didn't cost thousands.
