Hello, thank you for your knowledgable post. I did however properly break-in me set using D-Nice sliders for 300 hours, before well over 1000 hours of other general content before playing Destiny. Sadly, the HUD still burnt in, badly at than, all from normal gameplay sessions.
I'm amazed no word on this has been spoken by Bungie yet, as this thread shows others have also had this problem.

DCUO and FFXIV are SO much worse, the loadout bars, maps, chat box, server info, etc. All stay on the screen 100% of the time. Played for severallll hours each day, no issues. Wonder why you're having the problem? A tv salesman here, said the model you listed is an older tech model. Perhaps thats it?
