Armamentarium Titans can now double carry grenades in either subclass, while Warlocks can double carry only in one and Hunters cannot double carry at all. And you don't have to use up a perk to do it. And you also get to carry extra special and heavy ammo. Those are two perks not otherwise found on a single piece of armor anywhere that I've seen. Would you have been satisfied if it gave you three grenades? Helm of Inmost Light Gives you two perks that you could select on your own, sure. But now you get to stack two additional perks on top of those. I myself like the idea of Death From Above/Headstrong combined with Aftermath and Aftershocks. This greatly improves the usefulness of your Fist of Havoc. Insurmountable Skullfort You know what? I admit, I thought this one could have been a touch better myself. Instead of spawning with full Melee energy, I would have liked to see it combine Transfusion with Illumination. But nevertheless, since it provides you with Transfusion, you're now free to stack on an additional bonus from that line. That's the point. The exotics allow you to do things your class normally cannot do or enhance your native abilities by letting you double up on modifiers. If you don't like having your Storm Fist or Fist of Havoc get extra perks or being allowed to carry an extra grenade, for both subclasses, without dedicating a perk choice to allow it… well, then I got nothing. What sort of Exotics would you like to see? Genuinely curious. Like I said, I thought An Insurmountable Skullfort missed the mark a little myself.

  • "The power of the Titan's Exotics is the benefit of getting to choose other perks because the Exotics themselves only provide those perks," is basically what you're saying. You know, I would be okay with that if the Titan's perks were adequate. They are not. Death From Above is entirely situational; the maps are very lateral, I would have to go out of my way to acquire the height needed to make Death From Above useful, not to mention I become the biggest target on the battlefield while trying to make it happen. Aftershocks adds two shock cycles to Pulse grenades and Lightning grenades, and Aftermath. I'm going to tell you how many more enemies you'll kill with Aftershocks: zero. The damage of the grenades and Aftermath is already easily avoidable. Transfusion completely heals me if I reserve an enemy for my fists after dropping their health to a level low enough that I can actually kill them with a single melee. Why would I go through all that effort to heal myself when I could just as easily hide? Warlocks can punch someone and get rewarded with a shield instantaneously. No kill necessary. I think I've gone on long enough. The problem with Titan Exotics is that they provide the already underwhelming perks we have in our arsenal, and the Exotics that don't give us an inadequate perk are the Exotics that give us something the other classes already have, without the need for an Exotic item, mind you. I don't want Exotics that just take the place of perks. I want Exotics that give me the same edge Warlocks and Hunters enjoy.

I've gotten plenty of kills from the extra shock cycles in PvE and PvP. Worked wonders for me in Iron Banner by dropping them right on the flag pole. But everyone's mileage varies, I suppose. Of course you need to be careful using Death From Above in the Crucible. I've been shot out of the air before. I've also gotten kills I wouldn't have gotten otherwise. But you know what's odd? I was curious and checked your profile. It says "This account has not played Destiny." And since your only "activities" are posting on the forums, I'm going hope that it's a glitch. Because if you've never actually played a Titan (or a Hunter or a Warlock) that would kind of make you a troll… Maybe you just deleted your trio of Titans in a rage quit? Why not just play Warlocks and Hunters if they have "the edge" you need to make your play style work?

  • That is odd, I'm looking at my profile right now and I see each of my characters' stats: I see my K/D from my recent activities, I see my score from recent Crucible matches, and so on. I wouldn't have come here to post perceptions of a game I've never played, because I have played Destiny. In fact, on my profile, when I look at it, it says I have ten days logged into this game. This has to be some sort of glitch because I'm sure I've linked my Guardians. I'm even in a clan that shows up on my player card in-game. I do most of my posting from the companion app so that might be part of it. Oh, well, back to the discussion. I don't have three Titans: I have all three characters. I've played thoroughly with each of the classes: in Crucible, in Strikes, and in Raids, which is why I think my grievances with this game aren't unreasonable. I play as them all the time and it's much easier to do better in the Crucible with them than as the Titan. The combination of good Supers, grenades, and maneuverability is why the Warlock and Hunter have that edge in PvP; Titan is left out because of mediocre grenades, low maneuverability, which isn't justified because agility still dominates multiplayer, and an underwhelming melee that is only saved by shoulder charge. Switching to another character isn't the way to fix this problem; I want Titans to have that same edge because if they don't, then the whole aspect of balance in this game is lost.

  • Still won't show your profile to me. Weird. Anyway, I shall give you the benefit of the doubt and take back any implication you were trolling with my apologies. I hate that the Titan underperforms for you, but from my own experiences, on both sides of the kill, I can't agree that it's underpowered. Respectfully disagree, but disagree nonetheless. No hard feelings, I hope.

  • It's still a weird thing that you can't see my profile. Yeah, though, no hard feelings, man. I'm glad our conversation was civil; an uncommon occurrence on the internet. Maybe I'll be convinced with the next batch of Exotics that hits the Tower, or maybe Bungie could do just a little to improve the existing ones. See you around, Guardian.

Very bizarre indeed. I wish I could upload screenshots. And I'm also glad we kept it civil. Too much acid and bile on these forums. I'll never complain about my favorite exotics getting even better. That's for sure. May the Darkness flee before you, Titan.
