Vex Mythoclast, Thorn, thunder lord

Bungie, I have to say Destiny is an amazing game but there are a few things about it I'd like to discuss. Vex Mythoclast- Good in Pve but in Pvp its just not that great I'm constantly gunned down by people with the suros regime even if I have the drop on the player maybe a minor buff for Pvp on the vex mytho is in order. Thunder lord- I love this gun but sadly its recoil is everywhere with little to no accuracy please take a look into the matter. Thorn- I and many of my friends that I play with have this weapon love it but find the non-resetting damage over time effect irritating and find it only good to keep an enemies shields down. Whats your favorite gun in destiny? My youtube channel- https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCW9k0NdvBUZiN9yplXeJCaQ Order of Glass(clan)- http://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Detail/467029

The Vex is one of the strongest AR style weapons in the game when used in close combat. Do not fight people at longer ranges with it. The Thunderlord outclasses every other LMG in the game especially with perfect balance. It's a Jolder's Hammer but with a gradually increasing rate of fire. Thorn guarantees a two hit kill if you land two headshots. The only other handcannon that can do that is Hawkmoon and then it isn't consistent as it requires you to land a bonus damage shot (Something like a 48% chance of at least one of the first two shots having the bonus). Would you rather take the guaranteed two shot kill (Granted the poison takes time to do it) or take what is pretty much a coin flip?

    • They didn't stack the DoT on the thorn because it would make things a little too easy, and I don't even want to think about the reaction from the crucible fan base if the damage stacked...dear god, I almost want to leave these forums just thinking about the reactions...

    • A buff for the Mythoclast in pvp? I don't have the weapon, but by the videos that i saw, the weapon is already good, the only thing that it needs its more reserve ammo. Thunderlord its a HMG, it will have recoil. Use perks that helps it. I have the Thorn, and its PERFECT, don't needs anything. I like the juju, the monte, and the gjallarhorn (but this i don't have yet)

      • i love my thunderlord.. i genuinely do.. however i don't like the trade off between low ammo capacity.. (it's a freaking heavy machine gun!!!) or half stability. the stability is nice.. but WTF @ the ammo cap for this thing being so ridiculously low!? i hate to make the comparison.. but it feels a lot like the old super good advice in terms of accuracy.. and it's pretty damn sad when my old hannibal-e could kick it's butt in ammo capacity and stability.

      • Thunder lord is overshadowed by the swarm its legendary counterpart Vex gets overshadowed by the last word from range

        • Thunderlord is my baby. My First Exotic Weapon, got it after a grueling battle with the Archon Priest in the Nightfall. Field Scout is great if you're gonna be using it a close range, the extra ammo is a godsend. But if you play the way I do, hanging back and laying into a boss's critical spot, go for perfect balance. The accuracy increase makes the gun a beast, and absolutely wrecks in Crucible and PVP.

            • Thorn doesn't need a buff. Enough people are already complaining about it. Other than that, I haven't tried the other two weapons and don't want to comment about them.

              • Actually the Vex is pretty amazing in pvp I get like 30 kill games with it easily all you need to do is get headshots.

              • I like my Last Word just because of the way it fires. I love the MIDA Multi-Tool, and really want Xur to let me bring that to Ver 2.0. I just picked up the Hunger of Crota, and am leveling it now to see what exactly the cluster bomb perk does. I am hoping it is comparable to the Gjallahorn (since the RNGesus does not want to give that gun up, to me anyway). I like the Vision of Confluence, especially in PvP - the precision of a scout mixed with the full-auto sense of an AR? Yes please! xD I am currently working my way through the Thorn bounty - can not wait to get my hands on that one. Looks like a fun gun when upgraded.

                • Vex is dominant close range, unless they get a fusion rifle off or close enough for a shotgun

                  • Bro, I'm going to start telling this to all weapon critics: Choose a gun that fits your playstyle.

                    • love my last word, thunderlord and P&T tie for second. thunderlord is only all over the place if you spec for something besides stability, and even then, it's decently stable and eays to manage. use it every time i have the super good advice bounty, every kill is a machine gun headshot with thunderlord

                      • I love the Thunderlord... I may be blind (technically I'm legally blind) but I don't really see the stability issues in it. Unless you decide to use field scout after you have it's main perk cuz then it fires way too fast after a while. My friend was also saying it's not very stable, but I'm not seeing it.
