That's well and good for a battlefield situation where you are using energy constantly, getting no sleep while fighting your heart out and being in many situations where you must go prolonged periods without food but what I did was hike for 4 hours, went to the gym for 2 hours and then I came home finished my man cave in maybe 1 hours 30min at most, then I sat down and started watching T.V. If I hadn't eaten all that fatty crap then I would have burned a lot more fat( I'm also an amateur body builder at the moment so this stuff matters more to me than most) and I'm forced to count this as my cheat day for the next two weeks. MRE's are just simply are not healthy for civilian life but they are perfect for what they are usually used for.
