It's been said before but I'll emphasize. COD $15 for: -3 PVP maps -possibly some new guns/a perk or two Vs Destiny $15 for: -3 PVP maps -new PVP game types (incoming) -3 story missions + extra bounties/bounty missions -new armor and weapons -A new RAID (which is amazing! Just got to Crota last night and it was a hell of a time) Yea, compared to my past DLC purchases, I'd say I got my money's worth. I've found that most people that are claiming that the DLC is terrible don't play the Crucible AND don't raid. So they're complaining because they decide not to participate in half the new content... which is absolutely ridiculous. I agree that this game needs more story but most people don't take into account that bungie is splitting their efforts in half to attempt to make both a great PVE and PVP experience. This was possibly the wrong move depending on which crowd you're aiming to please (which is incredibly apparent with all the RPG nerds who are crying for a better story line) but for someone like me who thoroughly enjoys both - they hit the mark. I'm not necessarily trying to defend Bungie here ... I'm just stating that I am happy with my purchase and I'll keep playing because I'm enjoying myself. I highly encourage you to move on if you're not enjoying the game as there is absolute NO POINT in playing a video game if you're not having fun.
I'm one of those "RPG nerds" so there's no reason for anyone to get offended
• Pretty sure that with cod past years you get like 4mp maps and zombie map/co-op mossions and gun or something. I thing the way bungie es approaching destiny if more of the problem. Locking out people from content and amazingly little contents there is.

 • Sigh, I wish people knew how to compare things. So you're comparing a multiplayer specific DLC mappack in COD to an expanion in a single player/multiplayer hybrid that is Destiny. But sure, let's humor you. Other than the obvious mistake at listing The Dark Below at $15 when it's $20, Now Call of Duty games traditionally ship with about 10-15 multiplayer maps. So a mappack of 3 maps adds 1/3 to 1/5 of the starting content to the game. There's also usually more than 2 mappacks. Most call of duty games average about 3-4 DLC packs. So by the time COD is done with DLC it would have added about 12 new maps, near doubling the launch lineup, plus more stuff is usually thrown in there. For advanced Warfare it's adding a zombies mode. Black Ops of course added all sorts of zombie maps in its DLC. Ghosts added extinction mode stuff and past Modern Warfare games added spec ops stuff. Now, I'm not saying Activision doesn't equally overcharge for Call of Duty stuff, it does. I'm saying comparing Destiny DLC to COD DLC is the wrong comparison to make and even if you make it, technically Call of Duty still wins when you look at it purely multiplayer to multiplayer.

 • The problem is FPS CoD players don't see how lame this expansion is compared with what MMO and RPG players have come to expect from expansions. Destiny is a strange hybrid ... a jack of all trades ... Given the MMO/RPG aspects, I thought the expansion would substantially add to the game's playable content to make the grind more enjoyable. I think that this was a fair expectation.

 • Yes because playing it somehow negates peoples complaints. You may have low standards but it is unacceptable for you to expect everyone else to lower theirs. This update needed to also address the lack of content in the original game as well and it did not. Weak DLC with a weak game, this shows that Bungie is not listening to their community, this is what the complaints are about.
