I think you missed the fact that neither skyrim or oblivion were online games. You can't play with your friends, the graphics were crap, and there were so many glitches that if you weren't careful the story became unplayable. After the release of both skyrim and oblivion the people had time afterwards to create the new DLC. Now however they are constantly adding things there for there is less time for big DLC releases. However they have also promised more stuff to be released in the coming weeks. And yes yo have your right to freedom of speak, but please try to remember that everyone commenting on your post also has that right.

I'm not sure how the online factor within Destiny and the ability to play with friends is an issue which affects the potential volume of DLC. Please expand. The graphics on Skyrim and Oblivion were outstanding imho (especially Skyrim). I would say that Skyrim graphics are on a par with Destiny for Xbox 360 tbh. Again, how is this point relevant to the volume of DLC for Destiny? Sure there were glitches in those games (as in all games). I don't remember experiencing any that stopped me playing the story. How is this any different from a glitch ridden Destiny? And again, how does this have a bearing on the volume of DLC that it is possible to include within the game? Where have they promised more ‘stuff’ for the coming weeks? And what do you mean by stuff (playable content or items)? The stuff that is constantly being added obviously should have been there at release. I would rather wait longer and have a better game, than see them rush and do a poor job. Same with the DLC. I respect your right to say whatever you want. You could call me a fat ugly turnip if you wanted. I mentioned freedom of speech in regard to the objection: 'Stop crying and play another game'. It would seem that many ‘fanboys’ are incapable of any meaningful response other than to say I should 'shut up'. Hence the reason for saying, 'I have a right to express my opinion'. I'm not against Destiny. I think it is a great game. I just feel that it has the potential to be so much better.

  • Online playability, and multiplayer require a great deal of time and effort to effectively put into a game. That's why i included it. On top of that DLC is an entire money making scheme. The fact that bungie has stooped to it should not have surprised anyone. However the graphics for oblivion and skyrim were no where close to Destiny unless you were playing skyrim on ps3. And on top of that this is bungie pretty decent first attempt at an rpg. With more DLC to come and even more games planned for the future, I'd say that leaves plenty of room for improvement.

  • I hope that the future is bright. I so want this game to be amazing. I just feel it isn't quite there yet. Patience and time will tell. In the meantime, I will continue to rant on the forums (if only to annoy the fanboys ... it is so much fun).

  • No not really Patience and time is terrible, plus the whole point of patience and time is a slow kill that no one saw coming. Not to shock everyone with a massively impressive game.

  • Ha! Nice one. I've got that in my vault. Not used it much. I'm happy with my legendary sniper, but would like one that does void damage.
